The Day in Pictures- July 6th

Outside our window...

Well-behaved Kenyan schoolchidren

Baby Elephant formula bottles

One hungry little girl
Rescued young blind rhino
And now for the second course...

Oh, wow!  Some more...
Women's collective, Kazuri Beads
Quality Control Department
Just a small sampling of some of Wednesday's activities...the David Sheldrick Baby Elephant Center, Karen Blixen house (no photos), and Kazuri Beads (which are sold at Ten Thousand Villages, among many other places). Late lunch at a lovely restaurant I remembered from last year called the Talisman, and then back to the Wildebeest for some rest, reflection, and on-going conversation with my friend and travel companion, Mae. Lala salama...sleep well, dear ones.
